Win, Place and Show selections plus an Exacta for every race, with a one-line reason for each.
Winning times at the top level have barely moved in decades. Fancy training is fine, but results come from the horse, the conditions, and the rider who chooses it.
Thoroughbreds typically peak around four to five years old. We favor horses at or near their prime.
In open company, males run about 1% faster on average. We adjust when fillies and mares face colts.
Dirt, turf and synthetic reward different builds and pedigrees. Proven surface fit matters.
Sprinter or router? Pedigree and past form tell us where a horse's best trip lies.
Seasoned riders at smaller tracks earn most on winners, so the mount they choose is a signal.
Every race comes with a pick row and a short “why” tied to the five factors.
Why: 5yo gelding with consistent figures; a 20-year veteran rider picked this mount. Exacta 2-4.
